To mitigate the impact of ITP, we have built an API, that is provided to experiences through options. This writes to a single cookie, under the key qb_generic.
Every time this cookie is written to, the API will back up the cookie in localStorage and ETags.
When no cookie is present because it has expired or been deleted, the cookie is seamlessly restored from the back-up.
